Hello everybody, Christine here. You might have seen this post on our Challenge Blog, we decided to incorporate the Challenges into our regular blog.
We have four ladies (plus me) that will be joining us for the first 6 month term. These ladies will be working hard to ensure there are some new techniques to learn, cards to create and products to try at CC Designs.
Let’s begin with:
Leah Tees
Hello everyone, my name is Leah Tees. I have been an artist for 20 years, first and for the longest as a painter. I now do paper crafts, and love to color. As a mother and an Educational Assistant, I love to see and have fun with many young wonderful personalities, and certain stamp designs appeal to that side of me. CC Designs is one of those wonderful companies, whose stamp designs allow me to add a touch more personality to their characters; personalities that I have seen and enjoyed, either at home or at work. Coloring and paper crafting has been an idle passion for me for a few years now, not fully knowing what I wanted to do with it. Now I know and I love it!
And now we will meet our next Diva, who is....
Jerusha Borden
My paper crafting journey started after I had my first baby I had been attending a Mom and Baby class and one of the last things we did at the ten week program was make a scrapbook page of our baby. I had so much fun with it I went to the local craft store and purchased some supplies to make a few more pages. I have come a long way since then! Now I have several albums and scrapbook pages of both of my wonderful boys, my husband, family and friends. I don't scrapbook as much now that I have discovered a love of card making which all started when I wanted to encourage my pastor's wife by making her a card. Not only did I find how much fun it was to create cards, I discovered how wonderful and easy it was to encourage others and share some love in such a simple way.
And where there are two Darling Divas, there are three....
Without further ado lets introduce
Shanna Shands!
I am a SAHM of two who spends her free time crafting. I love mixed media and painting and getting dirty, but my first love is coloring. I have been coloring now for 3 or 4 years now lol who is counting. I love creating cards using stamped images. Coloring with copics seems to be my “it” thing. I would love to branch out and learn to color with Distress Inks and maybe even with pencils, but copics are always my grab and color method. I love sharing everything I make and hope to inspire everyone interested in what I do. I am really excited for the chance to be on C.C. Designs team. Thanks for this fun chance.
Look at all those beautiful smiles!
I guess the last and final Devilish Diva is none other than me, Tarah.
Really folks ....no kidding I started paper crafting after I got married, thought “hey, why not, right? Batta Bing Batta Boom.......my husband should have said step away from the beginners class and run....well 10 years later (yep, I remember meeting a friend that said she had scrapped for 10 years, I thought, “really who does the same craft for that long....sigh....now its me on the other side...lol). The funny thing is I only started making cards about three years ago and I am loving this journey because the projects are quick and well.....I simply LOVE it. I have the pleasure of working with the C.C. Design Divas, the images and the owner (Christine Wooden), who I wanna say: ROCKS So take a minute, stop over at the store (www.ccdesignsrubberstamps.com) check out the merchandise and exercise the visa....paypal....bank account.....whatever strikes your fancy. Our Delicious Divas look forward to seeing your Awesome work. Well if you ask me I live with the bears, beavers and bucks in Eastern Canada where its summer now but winter is just around the corner!
