Have you seen this Hot-Knife yet? Do you know what it does?
This is an item you have to have if you use EZ-Mount foam on your stamps. It will save you hours of frustration and cleaning your scissors.
The Hot-Knife cuts through EZ-Mount foam with ease. You won't believe how easy it is to use. I wasn't too sure how it would handle when I first saw it. I thought it woud be bulky and hard to use, boy was I wrong.
I have been cutting stamps with as many straight lines as I could, which doesn't always look the nicest. Now I can cut stamps closer to the image and have the EZ-Mount foam look as pretty as the stamp does.
I have the Hot-Knife and EZ-Mount listed on the website. In the next couple of days I will have the Kai Stamp Scissors and Glass Mats in stock.
I could not get the knife to make clean cuts on rubber.
Heres pics of me using the Hot-Knife-
The Hot-Knife comes with the cute little stand. It has an on/off switch on the cord. I was concerned that it would say which was on or off, or if it was one where you just plug it in and it heats up. It takes about 5 minutes to get it completely heated.
Place your stamps on the EZ-Mount Foam.
Cut around the image. You don't need to do this perfectly either. After you get the stamp cut out of the foam you can take it and holding it in the air trim around the stamp.
The done stamp. Since the image is being trimmed close you won't have excess rubber that can accidentally get inked and stamped.
I linked this great tutorial on my blog. Hope you sell out! Cant wait to get mine in :D

I just found your site through AmyR. I purchased this knife about a week ago but didn't think about needing a glass mat. Can I use an acrylic one or will it melt? Also... I am SO excited to have found this site. I am in LOVE with your stamps (I've been buying every one that you make from allthatscraps)! They are just ADORABLE. Actually, the new school stamps are on their way to me too! :) Let me know if you ever need anymore designers! ;) My blog readers really love your stamps too!
