Yippee, I started my own blog. Since our wonderful Design Team is now helping to keep the C.C. Designs blog full of post I decided it was best to have my own blog.
My creative side has sprung to life recently and I have been making cards left and right. I also want a place to post my other hobby which is cross stitching. I was recently introduced to a cross stitch company that is very kawaii inspired. I am currently working on Story time sampler. Even though I am not a reader I just couldn't resist doing this monthly sampler.
I have found myself working with 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" size cards lately. I find it harder to fill in all the space when the card pushes 6" x 6". I would say lately I am doing closer to CAS cards.
I had a lot of fun creating this card, it was pretty quick which I really like. I find that if I try to put to much stuff on my cards I get "blocked" and can't get the card done.
The hearts on the pink paper is translucent embossing paste mixed with glitter. It took me quite a while to warm up to stencils, I thought it would be messy and I don't do messy at all. But really if you have the right tools it is not messy at all.
Of course we have many more stencils coming up with our future releases. And boy are they ca-ute!!
I colored Texting Erica with Copic Markers, I used E50, E51, and E53 for the skin. I usually do E000, E00, E02 but I am finding the E0's are to pink and the E5's are more of an olive skin color.
How about some info on the supplies?
