ATS DT Challenge #26: Christmas Card Showcase

 

I used the rocking horse from the Sugarplums Northpole Set. I like the rocking horse, he is a pretty big stamp. I wanted to try Jennifer M's Copic technique you can find it here <-- I worked on coloring in this horse for 2 days, I have to say even though it took a long time I couldn't be happier with the results.

The photo looks wonky, I really need to get a light box and get out the cameras tripod. I was going to ask for one for Christmas but I think I will order it sooner. I actually can't wait, cause I plan on setting up a space upstairs for it to sit where it won't be bothered, and then I can easily snap pics whenever I need to.

I got in K & Co Swell Noel Pattern Paper the other day and omg it is fabulous. I love the non traditional colors, and the old time feel to it.

 

And here is a close up, the white paper I used bleed the color a bit.

ATS DT Challenge #22: Ribbon Inspiration

The challenge this week is to be inspired by the ribbon used for the project.

 

I have had this blue, red, pink, ribbon forever and just couldn't being myself to use it, one of those hoarding things. I haven't pulled out my Hey Chicky set in a while, and had so much fun with it.

   

The red paper is the plaid background stamp. To make the dark red areas I used a red Copic Marker and then to make the white areas an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen.

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge- Birthday Money Holders

The challenge this week was a color challenge.

 

I really wasn't sure what I was going for when I was making my samples. Here they are.....

 

They became Birthday Money Holders. The little containers will be uploaded to the site later today, along with a punch of other cool new packing items.

The cupcake is from It's My Birthday. The liner of the cupcake was done with a Stardust pen, the cupcake part was glitter I had sitting around, the white on the candle is from my Inkssentials pen, and the flame is yellow paint.
