I pulled out my much neglected pencils the other day. I really like the outlining you can do with the pencils.
Hunny Bunny was one of the March release sets. On the ATS blog I did a giveaway contest and asked everyone to name the bunny. Our winner Dawn said that he should be named "Sprinkles" and I think that is the cutest. So this is Sprinkles:

Whimsy Stamps Love You Mice is just the funniest stamp I have seen in a while. The whole Whimsy Animal line is available at All That Scraps.
When I got the Glam Girlz Stamps the beginning of April I made this calendar. I know it is out of date now, hee hee.
I think the purple and yellow is so springy. The Girlz are SO much fun to color, you will love them. And they are really easy to paper piece.
I used the chipboard coaster to make this calendar, they are another thing I am totally in love with right now.
Ok so I will just list all the things I love that I used in this calendar-

core'dinations cardstock (the colors are yummy, and they have 6x6 combo packs that have 40 different colors in them)

So I guess now I need to go make my May calendar. Oh I got the calendar online, I Googled printable calendars.
I have really been neglecting my stamps lately. I re-did the office/stamping area this week, the girls had spring break so they were able to kinda help. The walls up there were the basic white flat paint that show every little mark. It made me feel very uncreative.
I painted the back wall grayish-blue and the 3 other walls cocoa, (the carpet is navy blue). I have all my stamping supplies up there plus my computer/scanner/printers, and I also get all the stamps ready up here. So there is alot that goes on in this room. We still need to put together the new entertainment center and I have a space for a chair with a side table.
I actually have it better organized that all my supplies are now in reach and that means I actually got to stamp. I laid out all my stamps, closed my eyes and pointed. And the stamp I picked was Skully.
I was looking to do a non cutie card. I seem to always go flowery-glittery. This time I went with what I would call "grunge".

I started with the pattern paper which is Pixel Decor (no longer available) these colors just call to me. They are a funky, fun color combo.
I then found matching cardstock, the card is an odd shape at 3 1/2" x 6". I used Prismacolor and OMS to add the orange touch to Skully. I then used the paper piercer to pierce the holes that I sewed the black "x"s through. I have had this bottle of distressed reinker for a while and decided to play with it. Let's just say my hands are a little stained. That was messy but fun. I used a cotton ball to apply the ink, next time I will use a sponge. The white around the green and the X and O are all done in white paint. I used to put a bit and so I have tons of paint left. I really need to start using all my supplies instead of holding on to them.

Hear is a sneak peak of one of the new sets. I have always had cutsie so I decided to try sophisticated. Butterflies are pretty sophisticated right?

Now onto the card-
The butterfly and saying are part of the new set. I had colored the wings and head with Copics and then decided to try pearl mixative over the top and this is what happened. It really looked better before I boofed up the wings.
The saying "Beautiful" is stamped on vellum. Here is a close up-

It has been so busy around here lately wheww! Love Ya Lots and Love Ya Much have been a huge success. Meaning we have been busy pressing and cutting and putting together sets. And guess what it is almost time for the new release. Next month there will only be one set released but three new stamps that I haven't created before. You will just have to wait and see. hee hee
Lovely lion with the glittery pink mane. Isn't he huggably cute? The 3 embellishments under the lion are beads. I have a ton of beads I bought a couple years ago and haven't used them in so long.
