Hello there, it's Simone! I'm starting this week with my "Make it Monday"-Theme and sweet little "Snail" from the March Release of CC Designs Rubberstamps. I created a Chocolate-Wrapper and this is really simple, but sooo cute =)
- just have a look:
Cardstock 8"x2,5", Cardstock 1"x6"
Aquarell paper, black inkpad, distress reinker for coloring
Punches (Cirles 1 1/2", 1 3/8", Scallop Circle 2", Label, Corner rounder)
Scor Pal, adhesive tape (Scor Tape 1/4"), Embossing folder
Chocolate-Sweets (square size 1 3/4"x 1 3/4")
First fold the cardstock on the long side at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
The long (left) part is for the top flap, the short (right) part is the flap to hold the chocolate. Use a punch or a long Die cut (Mordern Label Punch, SU) for the "whole" to put the chocolate through.
Take a piece of strong adhesive (score tape) and glue the flap onto the middle part, like the picture shown underneath. Easiest way to glue the flap in the right position is to put the chocolate inside, so you make sure you will have enough room for it. As you can see I used an embossing folder for the top flap.
I used Rubberstamp "Snail", colored it and glued it on the circle&scallop circle.
Put the small cardstock as a wrapped band around the folded bag and glue it together (use again strong adhesive!) while the chocolate is inside. Put the glued part in front so you can hide it under the scallop circle. Glue the decorated scallop circle on the band.
I used the "Chocolate saying" to decorate the inside- it fits perfectly- don't you think so?
I hope you like it! Have fun trying it! Thanks for stopping by....
Happy Stamping, Simone
